Your support of GDS through the donation of these items is greatly appreciated.  Look for collection bins located around the church. (Please note:  Collection bins for the WATS Project will be located in the Children’s wing.)  Monetary donations can be placed in the offering plate or mailed to the church office.  Be sure to note “Great Day of Service Projects”  in the memo section of your check.  If you wish your donation to be used toward a specific project, please note that as well.   Thank you !

Jamaica - Caribbean Christian Center for Deaf – Monetary donations to support scholarships for children at one of the three residential schools.  Donations in any amount are appreciated……(Scholarship funds needed for each child :  $3,000 per year).

Honduras - Orphanage Emmanuel – “Croc” type shoes – all children’s sizes, new or gently used.

Venezuela - “Croc” type shoes – all children’s sizes, new or gently used.

Romania - Small and medium men’s shirts; men’s pants no larger than 34” waist; Small and medium women’s shirts or blouses; slacks no larger than size 8.  New or gently used.   Please bring clean and folded. 

Nigeria - WATS (West African Theological Seminary) Books for children of all ages, new or gently used.

Serbia - ( For children in  Sunday School ) – Single subject notebooks and pencils, small hand - held  pencil sharpeners, crayons – 16/box, construction paper, children’s scissors.

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) - Layette Kits:  cloth diapers, infant shirts, one piece body suits, gowns, sleepers, baby washcloths, diaper pins, baby sweater open in the front, receiving blankets.  All donated items must be new. 

In His Wakes - Sunscreen, any type or size. 

Community Food Pantry - Canned vegetables and fruits (15 oz); oatmeal (18 oz), grits and other cereals; rice, pasta and dried beans (1 lb. bag); powdered milk, corn meal mix; macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce, canned meats or fish; laundry detergent (medium size); bars of soap.
